A lot of people are not content with the way that they would naturally look if they never used to remove some ingrown hair from here and there every once in a while. They use various remedies to get rid of this unwanted ingrown hair so that they can be socially presentable and as a consequence boost their self-esteem as well in the process. There are many different types of remedies that can be used and some of these can be done in the private confines of your own home. Each of these remedies will provide varying results with the time of hair regrowth being different in each of them. Below are just a few of the home remedies according to Dr. Santa for hair removal that have been proven to be very effective:

Honey Lemon

This remedy is yet another affordable and convenient hair removal method that can be done at home. The user has to make a mixture of honey and fresh lemon juice. This mixture then has to be applied on the face making sure it is applied in the direction that the hair grows in. It is then left to dry for about 15 minutes and then rinsed off with cold water.

Salt

Although not as common a remedy as many of the other methods, people can use salt as a ingrown hair removal treatment. Salt is put in warm water in varying concentrations depending on the area the hair will be removed. The more sensitive the area it will be applied on to, the less the concentration of the salt should be. The mixture is simply rinsed off a few minutes after its application.

Gram Flour Lemon

This home hair removal remedy is usually used in Asia to make facial masks that once removed, will not only get rid of unwanted hair but will leave the skin feeling very smooth and revitalized. The ingredients are very easy to come by at your local grocery store. All you will need to buy is some gram flour and one or two lemons depending on their size. You will need to squeeze out 10ml of lemon juice to make the facial mask. This is then stirred into 150ml of warm water. Once this is done, measure out 30gm of the gram flour. Add the flour to the lemon water mixture and stir to a fine smooth paste. Mask your face with the fine paste and leave to dry out for about 15 minutes. Once it is dry, scrub off the mask with a soft brush or cloth. Make sure you are not going against the growth direction of the unwanted hair.

Haldi and Besan

Yet another remedy that can be easily made from readily available ingredients is the haldi & besan facial mask. All that you have to do is mix haldi and besan and then add a little bit of water. Not too much water is put as the resulting mixture has to be a thick paste. This is then allowed to dry and when ready, simply rinsed off with running water.
